The FRIENDS OF THE ASSOCIATION OF MONTANA TROOPERS, INC., is a Montana Non-Profit public benefit corporation that is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax exempt organization.
Since May 29, 2001, this entity has been providing benefit services to the troopers of the Montana Highway Patrol. FRIENDS have recognized that troopers perform an important duty to the public, including risking their lives for others, for little pay. FRIENDS have contributed monies to assist these worthy public servants with college funds for their children, unexpected medical expenses not covered by their insurance, or unexpected expenses that can result from a disability or death.
